Reflexology is a millenary practice consisting of applying different degrees ofpressure on specific areas of the feet and hands in order to stimulate the selfhealing mechanism in the body. It’s a smooth art, a fascinating science and an extremelyeffective massage therapy.
Pressure exerted with the tips of the fingers inspecific areas of the hands and feet successfully treats numerous healthimpairments. It is also known as “finger puncture”, a sort of needlelessacupuncture.
Its origin is thought to be as ancient as 4 thousandyears ago in China. Archaeological research also found traces of it in Egyptaround 2500 b.C.
Reflexology allows a gradual recover of health andwell-being; it restores the normal flow of Chi (vital energy) and activates theself healing mechanism within every one of us.
