In India, Ayurveda, Tantra and Yoga form the trilogy of Awareness Expansion in the path of meditation, freedom and self-responsibility.
Yoga is a science which unifies mind and body, Tantra is the acknowledgment and transcendence of energy and Ayurveda is the science of life for health, longevity and self-realization. None of these lifestyles moves by itself, they all walk together complementing each other. Pradnyam aparadham hi mulam roganam - all disturbance and disease has its origin in the fears of thought.
The fundamental vision of this art is to help to reactivate the self-healing power living in all individuals by the use of:
- Knowledge of ayurvedic philosophy and massage;
- Introduction to the Tantra
-Yoga philosophy and its use in therapeutic massage;
- Basic elements of Ayurveda: Elements, Doshas, and Anatomy;
- Basic elements of Tantra: Meditation, Sensitivity, Acceptance;
- Learning how to select the adequate massage type according to the patient’s needs;
- Different types of manipulation (Pidis) and conscious touch: massage as an active form of meditation;
- Padabhyangam: legs and feet massage; Hastabhyangam: arms and hands massage;
- Muriabhyangam: manipulations and stretchings; Doshabhyangam: massage sequences, according to the patient’s doshic constitution; Thandabhyangam: back massage, nabhi massage, tan-hara, abdominal and chest massage;
- Siroabhyangam: head massage;
- Self-training techniques for improving the professional massage practice: Yoga, breathing, meditation and subtle energies gymnastics
- Ayurveda-Maypaiat.
- Qualities and use of the main massage oils, essential plant oils and medicated ayurvedic oils.
- Understanding of anatomy, both in the physical and etheric levels and of marma regions.
- Marma Prana Chikitsa: energetic healing treatment on marma regions and finger pressure (Mardana).
- Introducing breathing techniques for emotional release.
Techniques that help the students’ intuition to become more sensitive and to focus his/her energy more effectively will also be taught. They are Ayurveda-Maypaiat, subtle energies gymnastics and Tan-Hara meditation.
